1. About SparkVision Kids
SparkVision Kids ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our") is an educational web application designed to teach financial literacy to young people ages 10–15. All investing activities on SparkVision Kids use virtual money only — no real funds are ever deposited, invested, or at risk. SparkVision Kids is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or investment platform.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
Users aged 13 and older may create an account independently. Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent before their account is activated, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Parents and legal guardians may create accounts to manage and monitor their child's activity on the Platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@sparkvision.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Children Under 13 — COPPA Compliance
SparkVision Kids complies with COPPA (15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq.) and its implementing regulations (16 C.F.R. Part 312). If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
Parents or guardians of children under 13 may:
- Review the personal information we have collected about their child
- Request correction or deletion of that information
- Withdraw consent at any time, which will result in deletion of the child's account

4. Educational Purpose — Not Financial Advice
All content on SparkVision Kids — including missions, market data, portfolio simulations, and any AI-generated commentary — is provided for educational purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Simulated portfolio performance does not predict or guarantee real-world investment results. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making real investment decisions.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Use the Platform to harass, bully, or harm others
- Submit false information, including falsifying your age or identity
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on the Platform
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our written consent
6. Virtual Currency and Rewards
SparkVision Kids uses virtual XP, coins, and badges as engagement mechanics. These have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real currency, and are not transferable between accounts. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or remove virtual rewards at any time.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials on SparkVision Kids are our exclusive property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@sparkvision.app. Upon termination, all associated data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPARKVISION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
